    Youtuber/ Streamer Requirements

If you are a regular poster on Youtube with a dedicated following, you may be eligible for the Youtuber rank here at MC256. This rank comes with some benefits to assist you in making videos here at MC256 easier and more creator friendly. Some of the things we are able to offer our Youtuber ranks is a nickname feature (if over a certain following) to help disguise your true username from regular users for a more natural playing environment. Another perk of being a Youtuber on our server is the [YT] rank that will appear before your name to allow you to stand out when you wish to be seen.

    Requirements for Youtube Channels

For any Youtubers or Streamers that wish to apply for the Youtube rank, your channel must meet the following requirements:
    • 100 or more subscribers for gaming channels with regular Minecraft content.
    • 500 or more subscribers for gaming channels with irregular Minecraft content.
    • A good number of views per video (around 100 views within a few days of release on all videos).
    • An active Youtube Channel producing original gaming content regularly.
    • Have uploaded some Minecraft related videos (This does not need to be MC256 Related).
We may also consider smaller Youtube channels which have above 100 Youtube subscribers for out Youtuber rank however this will be at our own discretion and will be dependent on views, age of channel and how regularly you upload.

If your Youtube channel meets these requirements please submit your application to the relevant thread in the MC256 Forums or if you wish to be discreet about your application please send an email to [mc256staff@gmail.com].

Please note that even if your channel does meet the above requirements it does not mean that you will be granted a Youtuber rank on MC256. All applications will be considered on a case by case basis by our Administration team and we may decline granting your rank for any reason. Ranks will only be granted to the owners of channels who are producing regular content for the channel.

    Requirements for Streamers

Although we do not have a Streamer specific rank here at MC256 we do also give out our Youtuber rank to streamers who meet a set of requirements that can be seen below.
    • A good number of views per stream (around 50 views whilst streaming on all streams).
    • Active Streaming of Minecraft related original gaming content.
    • Have an active following on any streaming site and stream a minimum of 2 times per week.
If you choose to apply for the Youtuber rank based on your twitch streaming channel, please remember to include an average concurrent viewership (which can be found on your twitch dashboard) and the times that you usually stream (with timezone to help administration staff reviewing your account) in your application. Once you have met the requirements please apply in the relevant thread in the MC256 Forums or if you wish to be discreet about your application please send an email to [mc256staff@gmail.com].

When applying for a Youtuber rank using a streaming channel our response could take a few days longer than usual as we need time to review your streaming statistics.

    Rules and the Youtuber Rank

Please note: You should be able to make around two videos per week at a length of 7 minutes each as minimum. Almost all of our server rules will still apply to Youtubers using the rank on our servers. Please make sure to read through the rules before applying to become a Youtuber to ensure that you understand what applies and what does not when granted a Youtuber rank. Most Youtubers will generate a following whilst on our servers and therefore create a level of respect within the community, please do not abuse this.

MC256 Requirements for Youtubers and Streamers are subject to change at any time, you are responsible for keeping up to date with them.
MC256 Administration has the right to add, remove or modify any and all items on the list of requirements.
